The NAthan Berhel Scholarship
IN 2011, THE PITCCH IN FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED THE NATHAN BERHEL SCHOLARSHIP AT VALLEJO HIGH SCHOOL TO HONOR THE MEMORY OF NATHAN BERHEL, CC’S COUSIN AND CHILDHOOD FRIEND, WHO PASSED AWAY IN JUNE 2004. THE PITCCH IN FOUNDATION HOPES TO CONTINUE NATHAN’S LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE BY SUPPORTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF STUDENT-ATHLETES FROM VALLEJO ON THEIR JOURNEY TO COLLEGE.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be a high school senior, student athlete with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Thank you for your interest in our scholarship program. Please click on the link to register! Fill out all necessary information to the best of your ability, once completed students will receive notification from ISTS confirming receipt. If students haven’t completed their application they will continue to receive deadline reminders from ISTS.
TIMELINE & INSTRUCTIONS
First, create an account and fill out the applicant information, education information, honors/awards, extracurricular activities, family info, financial info, personal statement (mention PItCCh In Foundation) and essay. Within the application process, request a personal recommendation and upload copies of your high school transcript and FAFSA Student Aid Report. See below for all relevant dates pertaining to the Nathan Berhel Scholarship:
1) Application Open: March 15, 2022
2) Application Deadline: May 10, 2022
3) Recommendation Deadline: May 17, 2022
4) Notification of Selection Results: June 1, 2022
5) Funds Disbursed: August 2022
